Aspire Engineering, as an incubator of new technologies, enables an increased focus on disruptive new technologies targeting the zero emissions vehicles domain, which has rapidly evolved to become dominated by electric vehicles.
1. Can you provide a brief description about who you are, what your company does? Aceleron is a clean technology company using patented battery assembly technology to manufacture advanced circular economy lithium-ion batteries that are serviceable, upgradable and recyclable. Aceleron’s testing and sorting methods enable high performing lithium-ion cells to be used in both first life and second life battery packs. This has helped Aceleron to accelerate the global shift to cleaner energy usage through storage technology that is more accessible to all.
1. Can you provide a brief description about who you are, what your company does? The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is the UK’s national standards laboratory and plays a key role in reliable measurement, testing and validation of emerging technologies to provide greater confidence for decision makers, investors and regulators. Research within the Electrochemistry Group is focused on the development of in situ diagnostic techniques, modelling tools and standard test methods for electrochemical energy conversion and storage devices to support improvements in device performance, lifetime and safety, while reducing cost.

We work through challenges using practical, problem-solving methodologies and offering tangible solutions, focused on three key areas. We advance manufacturing by merging practical, hands on experience with the latest innovations. Q: Can you provide a brief description about who you are, what your company does? A: Env-Aqua Solutions Ltd is an SME specialising in industrial waste treatment and pollution control equipment and has been instrumental in the design, installation and promotion of waste minimisation and resource recovery systems and programmes with a global industrial client base. The company also offers consultancy support to clients on technology transfer and exploitation strategy. Env-Aqua has extensive experience within the electronics, chemicals, surface engineering and recycling sectors with the latter embracing both materials and energy recovery.
